The only thing stored is the language you choose with the FR / EN button, kept in your browser (local storage) so the site is shown in that language on your next visits. It stays on your device and is never sent to anyone; you can erase it at any time by clearing this site's browsing data.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the mlid.fr website, published by MLID. The website presents MLiD's services (artificial intelligence consulting, home automation, websites and online stores, custom software, IT support) and allows you to contact the company. By browsing the website, you accept these terms.

2. Access to the website

The website is free to access, with no registration or account required. Internet access costs are borne by the user. MLiD endeavours to keep the website available at all times but cannot guarantee it: access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or in the event of a fault, without MLiD being held liable.

3. Content and information

Information published on the website is provided for guidance only and may change. It does not constitute a contractual offer: each service is subject to its own quote and terms. MLiD takes care to ensure the accuracy of the information but cannot be held liable for any error or omission.

4. Intellectual property

The texts, layout, logo and MLiD brand are the property of MLID. Any reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.

Credits: some photographs come from royalty-free image libraries (CC0 licence: StockSnap, rawpixel, Wikimedia Commons) or from MLiD's archives. The images on the Portfolio page are previews of websites created for our clients; they remain the property of their respective owners. The Jost typeface is distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

5. Links to other websites

The website contains links to third-party websites, including those of our clients and partners. MLiD has no control over these websites and is not responsible for their content or their personal data practices.

6. Liability

MLiD cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the website, from being unable to access it, or from the presence of a virus despite the security measures in place. Users are responsible for how they use the information published.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction. MLiD may amend these terms at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page.

MLiD respects your privacy and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data collected

The website only asks for information if you use the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message. MLiD collects no other data: no account, no cookies, no audience measurement, no advertising, no external tools (social networks, maps, fonts or analytics).

To protect the form against abuse, an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address is kept for no more than one hour, then deleted automatically. Like any hosting provider, o2switch also keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date, page visited), used solely for the security and proper operation of the server.

Purpose and legal basis

Information sent through the form is used solely to reply to your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote. This processing is based on your decision to contact us and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your data is never sold, rented or used for marketing without your consent.

Recipients and hosting

Your messages are received by MLiD only. The website and email are hosted in France by o2switch. No data is transferred outside the European Union.

Retention period

Messages received through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then for no more than three years after our last exchange if they do not lead to a business relationship. If you become a client, business and accounting records are kept for the periods required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us (contact form) or by post to our registered office, stating your request. We will reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — cnil.fr.

Security

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and applies technical safeguards against malicious use. Form submissions are encrypted between your browser and our server.
